About Learjet

Bill Lear's Learjet 23 first flew in 1963 and made the light business jet a category of its own. The company passed to Gates Rubber in 1967 (Gates Learjet) and to Bombardier in 1990. Bombardier ended Learjet production in 2022 and supports the fleet.
